These Joyrides are copper plated and contain :

• dirty copper finish

• scratches under the rim from being racked for plating

• all sales final - no exchanges or returns

Copper plating is known for its decretive aesthetic, and beautiful patina that evolves the more you use the YoYo. These D bearing joyrides are none of that.

They’ve been put through the wringer. They were roughly handled by the plating shop. They have scratches from being racked. The finish is dirty on every half. But they’ve been hand tested, smooth as production Joyrides, and will still beautifully patina with use.

Joyride is a flagship design by Recess. Based off our First Base Yoyo launched in 2015, birthing a modern wave of organic yoyo design (peep the records 💖).

D bearing yoyos are known for their agility and high RPMs that other small bearing yoyos feature. But, D bearings are wider (5mm) than the A Size (4mm) “small bearing”, giving players a wider string gap that will not hinder their trick selection by creating too much friction from a thinner bearing.
